It takes place on 24–25 November 2026 at Chiang Mai Valley of Light in Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, at Wat Phra That Doi Ku. The evening combines the Loy Krathong water offering with a mass Yi Peng sky lantern release.
There are three tiers per person: Standard THB 5,900, VIP THB 9,900 and Elite Experience THB 14,900. Tickets are sold only through the official shop at ticket.chiangmaivoyageoflight.com.
Every tier includes two sky lanterns, a krathong, dining, cultural workshops, a souvenir set and return air-conditioned transfers. Standard adds a Chiang Mai street food experience and one workshop; VIP adds premium seating near the main stage, Kad Mua northern market dining, two hours of free-flow beer and two workshops; Elite adds the CMVOL Elite Lounge, a premium Thai buffet, free-flow beer and wine, four workshops, fast-track entry and a reserved check-in counter.
Yes. Return air-conditioned coach transfers are included with Standard and VIP tickets, and a return air-conditioned van with Elite Experience. There is nothing extra to book.
Private parking is offered to Elite Experience guests only, is limited in number, and must be registered in advance. Guests on Standard and VIP tickets should use the return transfers included with their ticket.
Workshops are included with every ticket — one with Standard, two with VIP and four with Elite Experience. Some individual workshops may carry an additional fee.
Loy Krathong is the water offering — a decorated float set adrift by candlelight. Yi Peng is the Lanna sky lantern release. This event holds both rituals on the same evening.
